Restaurant review : Delicious Fly Thai event highlights: Enjoy the Thai Gastronomic Experience

On the 12th December 2011, Thai Airways invited the Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) members, TG agents, various campaign sponsors and their campaign restaurant participants to celebrate the launch of ‘Deliciously Fly Thai’ at the Lancaster Hotel. The guests were offered Thai food, beverages, and canapés. The highlight of this event was the Thai Food Fashion Show on the runway platform.
Wit Kitchathorn, General Manager of Thai Airways International in the UK and Ireland, opened the grand launch of a campaign called ‘Deliciously Fly Thai’ in conjunction with the promotions of 104 Thai restaurants in the UK. The campaign aims to engage over 300,000 Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) existing members with Thai-style gastronomic experience through restaurant meal discounts and gifts/reward schemes supported by sponsors. The campaign commences 1 January 2012 through to 31 March 2012.
Recently, Thai Airways International won Top 5 World’s Best Airline at the Skytrax 2011 Awards, together with the World’s Best Economy Class Cabin Seat and World’s Best Economy Class Onboard Catering.
ROP members will receive benefits of up to 20% discount on their food bill by presenting their ROP card at the participating Thai Restaurants in London:
- New and Silver Member: 10%
- Gold Member: 15%
- Platinum Member 20%
Thai Airways in the UK are offering ROP customers free entry to prize draws. All the customers need to do is to visit one of Thai Airway’s participating Thai Restaurants where they will be given one coupon per visit; there is no limit on coupon amount that can be filled. The chance will increase based on the amount of time they visit the restaurants.
The draw consists of the following prizes:
- 2 Thai Airways Business class tickets with hotel accommodations
- 4 Thai Airways Economy class tickets with hotel accommodations
- Luxury hotels and resorts in Thailand
- Football tickets
- Many other incentives
