The Thai @ Zero Longitude 2008 will be the first Thai festival taking place in the oldest Royal Park. It is a spectacular outdoor celebration of Thai food and handicrafts, traditions and culture presented in unique style for all the family to take part in and enjoy.

The attractions will include: Thai food, fruit and dessert stalls, Thai handicrafts, Thailand’s No.1 Chang beer garden, Thai cookery demonstrations, fruit and vegetable carving, Thai shoulder and foot massage, traditional Thai dancing and music, Thai boxing and martial arts demonstrations, etc.

Both days from 11am. at the opening the event, a dazzling Thai Parade will dance from St Mary’s Gate of the Greenwich Park moving along the National Maritime Museum before entering Black Heath Avenue then down to Bandstand , opposites The Royal Observatory where the Prime Meridian Line marker outside the observatory (The World official Zero Longitude marker).

The event opens at 11am until 6pm with tickets available on the gates at £5 on day, free entry for children under 120 cm. A copy of the programme priced 50 pence
